Look carefully and signal before changing lanes

Drivers changing lanes without carefully checking traffic, or without signaling, are a significant contributor to traffic accidents. Check for oncoming traffic, or for drivers passing you. Then put on your signal, and change lanes safely.

  • Date all of the perishable food items in your pantry with a marker
  • Check to make sure you have a hand-operated can opener and a permanent marker

Do you have these things in your pantry? If not, pick them up at the grocery store.

  • 1 gallon of water (you should have one for each member of the household)
  • 1 jar of peanut butter
  • 1 large can of juice
  • 1 can of meat
Also, pet food, diapers and baby food, if needed.
