You can join us for Bid Opening in the main conference room at the Augusta Headquarters Building at 16 Child Street (please read instructions posted on the main entrance) every Wednesday at 11am.
The Department still encourages use of our online bidding system, Bid Express. If you have a paper bid that you are delivering to the MaineDOT office, you can drop it into the marked receptacle at any time of day on any day of the week at the main entrance of the Augusta Headquarters Building. Work includes but is not limited to modifications to an existing pier structure, including pile installation, deck and railing modifications, relocation of existing gangway, structural modifications to the pier to support the installation of a new crane and hoist system, including electrical supply, and the furnishing and installation of several new floats and other incidental work.
Downtown Waterfront Improvements – Buoy Park and Middle Pier, Rockland
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on February 2, 2026 at the project site in the parking lot of Buoy Park in Rockland, Maine. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.
York Village Revitalization - work consists of intersection realignment, relocation of historic granite monument, full depth road construction, mill and overlay, new granite curb, brick sidewalk construction, addition of on-street parking, bike lanes, new lighting, catch basin/storm drain installation, landscaping, and other incidental work.
