Judicial Compensation Commission

The Judicial Compensation Commission must issue a biennial report to the Legislature, and reports to the Legislature are required by December 1st of every even numbered year. The biennial report must contain findings, conclusions and recommendations regarding the appropriate salary and benefits, including retirement, to be paid to members of Maine's Judiciary. The commission is also authorized to submit any proposed legislation necessary to implement its recommendations.
