Representative Jeremy Saxton is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives and is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources. He has opened several restaurants and now helps run his family’s restaurant and marina on Basin Point, in Harpswell. 

Saxton was born and raised in Harpswell and attended North Yarmouth Academy and the Landing School, where he studied boat design.  Being a strong voice for local fishermen, preserving the working waterfront, and maintaining the pristine coastline in the towns he represents are all deeply important to him.

Saxton lives with his wife Amy, and has two daughters.
