Representative Robert J. Saucier
Rep. Robert J. “Bob” Saucier is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry and of the Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs.
Saucier is committed to helping the agricultural community in Aroostook County grow and prosper in the ever-challenging markets that growers, packers and processors face on a daily basis. Additionally, his extensive background in the military, with four years active duty in the United States Air Force and 24 years with the Maine Army National Guard as an enlisted soldier and officer, positions him well to understand veterans issues.
Saucier retired from the Social Security Administration. He is also a retired officer with the Maine Army National Guard, former Commander of C Battery in Fort Kent and former commander of Headquarters Battery in Caribou.
Saucier is a third-degree member of the Presque Isle Knights of Columbus, a member of the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club, a member of the Presque Isle Disabled Veterans Association, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, a member of the Presque Isle American Legion, a member of the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club, a member of the Presque Isle Elks Lodge and past external vice president of the Presque Isle Jaycees.
Saucier has been married to Anna Marie Parker Saucier since 1975. They have four sons and two grandsons and two granddaughters.
