Rep. Robert J. (Bob) Saucier is serving his first term in 126th Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry and he also has been assigned as a member of the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs.
Rep. Saucier is committed to helping the agricultural community in Aroostook County grow and prosper in the ever challenging markets that growers, packers, and processors deal with on a daily basis. Additionally, his extensive background in the military, with 4 years active duty in the United States Air Force and 24 years with the Maine Army National Guard as an enlisted soldier and officer, positions him well to understand veteran's issues.
Rep Saucier is a retired federal employee with the Social Security Administration and a retired officer with the Maine Army National Guard and former Commander of C Battery in Fort Kent.
Rep. Saucier is a third degree member of the Presque Isle Knights of Columbus, member of the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club, member of the Presque Isle Disabled Veterans Association, member of The National Association of Retired Federal Employees, member of the Presque Isle American Legion, member of The National Rifle Association, and past external Vice President of the Presque Isle Jaycees.
Rep. Saucier is married to Anna Marie (Parker) Saucier for 37 years and have 4 sons and one grandson and one grandson on the way.
