About Rep. Sanborn

Representative Linda Sanborn is serving her third term in the House of Representatives and is serving her first term on the Appropriations Committee after two terms as a member of the Health and Human Services Committee.

Sanborn has been a Maine resident since 1981, when she completed her residency and moved to Gorham to be near her husband Jeff's family. She practiced family medicine in Gorham for 25 years before retiring in 2007. Linda and Jeff have three adult sons.

Rep. Sanborn's community involvement includes serving as a deacon at First Parish UCC Church in Gorham, on the Board of the Leavitt's Mill Free Health Center in Buxton, as well as volunteering at the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Gorham. She enjoys playing tennis and walleyball in her free time and loves to bake.
