Rep. Wagner
Representative Richard V. Wagner is serving his second term in the Legislature
and serves on the Natural Resources Committee.
Representative Wagner, a Lewiston resident for 38 years, recently
retired after teaching at Bates College for 34 years. He is a graduate
of Haverford College and earned his Ph.D. in social psychology from the
University of Michigan. He has been president of the Pettengill School
PTA and of the Board of John F. Murphy Homes. He is currently on the
Institutional Review Board of Central Maine Medical Center, the Lewiston
Energy Saving Committee, and the Community Advisory Board of Lewiston-Auburn
College. Representative Wagner has been a mediator for the Court Mediation
system since 1980.
