About
Rep. Trinward
Rep. Pamela Jabar Trinward, a Waterville native, is serving her
second term in the Maine House of Representatives and is the House
Chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Legal and Veterans Affairs.
In the previous legislative session, Rep. Trinward’s work
on the Legal and Veterans Affairs Committee focused heavily on ethics
reform and updates to the Maine’s Clean Elections program.
A mother of four children, Trinward is committed to creating more
opportunities for Maine children. In addition to her legislative
work, she serves on the Waterville Board of Education. For the
past 10 years, she served on the board of directors for the
Waterville Boys and Girls Club, and was instrumental in the
development of
the Alfond Youth Center.
In 2005, Waterville was named one of the country’s 100 best
places to raise a family by America’s Promise, a national
organization dedicated to promoting healthy communities for youth.
The Waterville Boys and Girls Club, as well as the city’s
efforts to reach out to families by afterschool programs, were cited
in the commendation.
Professionally, Trinward works as an office manager for a local small business.
