About
Rep. Smith
Representative Nancy Smith lives in Monmouth with her husband
and three children, two dogs, a cat, two llamas, and many farm
animals. She is a farmer and a licensed professional forester.
Their family farm, Snafu Acres Dairy Farm, is a grass-based, diversified
dairy farm and sells natural meats and poultry from the farm, through
farmers markets, at retail stores and to restaurants. She
focuses her efforts on issues related to strengthening all Maine-based
businesses, including our natural resource enterprises
in fishing, forestry, and farming. Nancy is the House chair of
the Business, Research & Economic Development Committee.
