Rep. Anne-Marie Mastraccio
Rep. Anne-Marie Mastraccio is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. She served on the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development and the Joint Standing Committee on Maine’s Workforce and Economic Development.
Rep. Mastraccio is committed to improving the business climate in Maine and increasing access to skills training for unemployed and underemployed workers. Her experience as the vice chair of the Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council and her 21 years as an elected official in Sanford are important asset in her committee work.
Educated and employed as a dental hygienist in Boston prior to moving to Maine 32 years ago, Anne-Marie was employed for over 20 years in the optometric practice of her husband, Albert. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Brief description of the subject matter handled by the committee: Claims against the State; liquor laws; lottery; non-profit and for- profit gambling games of chance, beano, raffles, slot machines, gaming devices); harness racing; off-track betting; election laws; campaign practices; campaign financing and the Maine Clean Election Act; voter registration; initiatives and referenda; governmental ethics; lobbyist registration; landlord-tenant laws; veterans' programs; Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management Services (except the Maine Emergency Management Agency); Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations; and Maine National Guard.
