About Rep. Marks


Rep. Tim Marks is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives and is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and the Joint Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. He was a state trooper for 25 years and appeared on the radio each week as “Trooper Tim” to answer listeners’ questions.

Now retired, Marks was recently elected to the Pittston board of selectmen and has taken up logging in his spare time. He is a lifelong hunter and outdoorsman. 

A native Mainer, Rep. Marks is a graduate of Gardiner High School and has a criminal justice degree from the University of Maine in Augusta.

Rep. Marks has four children and lives with his wife, Tammy.
