Rep. Sanborn
Representative Linda Sanborn is serving her second term in the House of
Representatives and serves on the Joint Standing Committee on Health
and Human Services.
Sanborn has been a Maine resident since 1981, when she completed
her residency in Family Practice and moved to Gorham to be near
her husband Jeff’s family. She practiced family medicine
in Gorham for 25 years before retiring in 2007. Linda and Jeff
have three grown sons.
Rep. Sanborn’s community involvement includes serving as
a deacon at First Parish Church in Gorham and volunteering at the
Ecumenical Food Pantry and Wayside Soup Kitchen. She also works
part-time at the Nonesuch Golf Club, and is a Red Hatter.
