Representative Michel A. Lajoie
Rep. Michel A. “Mike” Lajoie is serving his fourth term in the Maine House of Representatives. He represents District 58 – part of Lewiston – and is a member of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and the Franco-American Caucus.
Lajoie is a director of the Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union, a member of the Maine Fire Protection Services Commission and a member of the Maine Fire Institute Advisory Board. Lajoie is a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus 10019 Holy Family Church and a member of the Franco-American War Veterans Post 31 in Lewiston.
A retired Lewiston fire chief and former small business owner, Lajoie is committed to improving the economic and transportation infrastructures within Androscoggin County.
A Maine native of Franco-American descent, Lajoie and his wife, Rita, have three grown children and five grandchildren.
