Mazurek
Representative Edward Mazurek, of Rockland, is serving his second
term in the Legislature. He is a member of the Transportation
Committee and the Marine Resources Committee.
A retired teacher and coach, Rep. Mazurek is a graduate of Xavier University
with a BSBA degree, and earned a MA from Fairfield University. He is a former
member of the Rockland City Council and served as Mayor in 2003 and 2004.
Currently, Rep. Mazurek serves on the steering and site committee for "Many
Flags One School," and is a legislative liaison for the Lobster Management
Policy Council--Zone D. Rep. Mazurek also serves on the Coast Guard Committee
for the City of Rockland and the Advisory Board of Penquis Community Action
Program.
Representative Mazurek and his wife Maryellen have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
