About
Rep. Bolduc
Rep. Brian Bolduc is serving his third term in the House of Representatives.
He previously represented Auburn in the 118th and 119th Legislatures. He
serves on the Natural Resources Committee.
Rep. Bolduc was raised in “New Auburn,” the traditionally
Franco enclave of Auburn just across the Androscoggin river from
little Canada in Lewiston. After graduating from Edward Little
High School in 1992, he went on to be the first member of his
family to graduate from college with a degree in Political Science
at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. Immediately
after graduating, Rep. Bolduc was elected to represent New Auburn
in the House of Representatives. After serving two terms, he worked
a variety of menial labor jobs saving money to travel to Eastern
Europe. Upon his arrival back to the United States in 2004, he
began the process of social studies teacher certification in Maine.
A recent graduate of the Graduate Teacher Certification Program
at the University of New England in Biddeford, Rep. Bolduc looks
forward to beginning a career in public education.
Rep. Bolduc's top priorities in the 124th Legislature will be
teacher certification reform and cleaning up the Androscoggin
River. He is a life long member of the St. Louis Catholic Church
in New Auburn and an avid river kayaker in his backyard on the
banks of the Androscoggin.
