About
Rep. Casavant
Rep. Casavant is serving his first term in the Legislature and
is a member of the Judiciary Committee.
After graduating from Biddeford High School, Casavant went on
to earn his bachelor’s degree at the University of Maine
at Orono. He returned to Biddeford High School shortly after
to take a position as a teacher at his alma mater. Casavant has
taught there for over 30 years. He recently completed his master’s
degree in American and New England Studies at the University
of Southern Maine.
Casavant served as a Biddeford City Councilman from 1976 to
1992. He enjoys playing hockey, traveling and reading.
