Representative John Piotti is serving his Fourth term in the Legislature and is House Majority Leader. In this position he serves as head of the Democratic caucus, numbering 96 members. He convenes Democratic members to discuss legislation and provide guidance on policy. His office provides staff and support to all the Democratic members of the House. Rep. Representative Seth Berry is serving his Second term in the Legislature and is Assistant House Majority Leader (also known as Majority Whip), Rep. Berry assists the Majority Leader in his duties, especially in polling Democratic members on issues of special importance to the caucus. Rep. Berry represents Bowdoin, Bowdoinham and Richmond, plus the unorganized territory of Perkins Township.
