April 17, 2008

The Maine Department of Labor SafetyWorks! program is hosting a new class this week, Top 100 Costliest Cases/Workers Comp, at the SafetyWorks! Safety Training Center in Fairfield.

The workshop will review the costliest cases in Maine's workers' compensation system from 1999-2003 looking at cause and outcomes of each. Participants will engage in discussion on case management and long-range prevention. This class is free and open to all workers, but is intended to be most helpful to those who work with workers' compensation and disability prevention programs.

The SafetyWorks! program provides free safety and health consultations, trainings, and education resources for Maine employers and workers. For more information about upcoming trainings, visit the SafetyWorks! website at www.safetyworksmaine.com or call 1-877-SAFE-345 or TTY: 1-800-794-1110.
