SUBJECT: Year-End Pupil Transportation Reports
Please Forward to School Business Managers and Pupil Transportation Directors
The FY2006 year end pupil transportation reports/data collection forms will be provided to all school units in electronic format for on-line submission this year. The reports will follow the protocol required for all MEDMS reports. You will be reporting data normally collected on the following reports:
If you do not have MEDMS, please see your local MEDMS Administrator to get a Logon ID and Password. You need to have the “Transportation Director” permissions.
We expect the on-line reports will be available by the second or third week in July. We will notify you as soon as they are ready. Due to this late availability, we have extended the submission date for this year to not later than August 15, 2006. It is very important that these reports be completed accurately. The data provided to the Department will be used for determining future transportation funding levels. This is notification that subsidy checks will be withheld, beginning with the September check, if your reports have not been submitted.
Training will be available on the correct submission of your pupil transportation data at the Annual Pupil Transportation Safety Conference on July 26, 2006 at Sugarloaf USA. The workshop will begin at 8:15 a.m. immediately following first day registration at the Sugarloaf Grand Summit Resort Hotel. All transportation directors are encouraged to attend.
