RE:                   Time Sensitive Survey on One-To-One Computing, Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI)

 

 

            In order to help the Department of Education plan for the upcoming school year, we ask that Superintendents respond to the following questions BY THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS Tuesday May 11, 2004.  If you prefer, you may have a member of your technology staff respond on your behalf.

1. Please name the high school(s) in your district:

 

 

2. Do you have plans to provide laptops to students in your high school on a one-to-one ratio?  If so, what size deployment do you plan (i.e. one grade level, multiple grades, entire school population)?

 

 

3. Do you have plans to provide laptops to any of your teaching staff at the high school?  If so, do you plan to provide professional development around this deployment?

 

 

4. Do you have plans to provide laptops to students at your high school through the use of mobile carts?  If so, how many laptops do you intend to provide?
