Troop D Weekly Report

Troop D weekly activities for time February 3rd to February 9th, 2020

On 2/2/2020 Tr. Webber stopped Damian Craven (31) of Belfast on RT-1 in Belfast.  It was determined that Craven had a suspended license and his female passenger Morgan Mitchell (33) also of Belfast had a warrant for FTA.  Craven was charged with criminal OAS and Mitchell was arrested and transported to the Waldo County Jail.

On 2/4/2020 Cpl. Pelletier stopped Eric Shepley (30) of Bangor on I-295 in Gardiner for a speeding violation. His license was expired in excess of 90 days, and he was summonsed for the offense.  

On 2/4/2020 Tr. Martin stopped a vehicle for speed on I95 in Carmel. The operator, Cassidy Chadbourne (20) of Madison, gave a false name during the traffic stop. Once the operator was identified, it was discovered Chadbourne did not have a license. Chadbourne was charged with Operating without a license and Failure to give correct name.

On 2/5/2020 Cpl. Pelletier and Sgt. Quintero responded to a domestic disturbance at 15 Lindsey Ln. in West Gardiner. Jimmy Self (49) was ultimately arrested for DV Assault, and DV Criminal Threatening as a result of the investigation. 

On 2/7/2020 Tr. Stewart arrested Norman Hightower (39) of Swanville. Hightower was wanted out of Lincoln County for unpaid fines. 

On 2/8/2020 Trooper’s Belanger and Webber went to 18 Damon Rd in Stockton Springs to arrest Gail Curtis (35) of Stockton Springs on an FTA warrant. While at the residence, 1.5 grams of Fentanyl were located in plain view. A search warrant was drafted and executed on the residence. Approximately 6 grams of Fentanyl, 3.5 grams of Methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence. Curtis and her boyfriend, Rodney Damon (39) of Stockton Springs were arrested and charged with Trafficking schedule W drugs Fentanyl, Possession of Schedule W drugs Methamphetamines, Use and Sale of Drug Paraphernalia, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
