1-14 | York | 21 year old Robin Rainville (male) shot several times. 21 year old Joshua Cookson , a friend, charged with murder.
1-20 | Orland | Ila Boyle,36, beaten to death. Barry McCarthy, 36, a boyfriend, charged with murder. (DOMESTIC)
2-7 | Westbrook | Catherine Thims, 39, shot and killed as she worked as a bartender. 37 year old Mark Prescott, a customer of the bar, charged with murder.
2-10 | Scarborough | 15 year old Ashley Ouellette strangled and found dead on the Pine Point Road. (OPEN CASE )
2-27 | Kenduskeag | Katherine Poor, 40, stabbed to death . Frank Higgins, 36, a boyfriend, charged with murder. (DOMESTIC)
3-28 | Lewiston | Eddie Santana, 18, shot to death over drugs. Paul Longtin, 20, charged with murder.
3-29 | Lebanon | Two men beaten and stabbed following the breakup of a marriage. Killed were Donald Wood Jr., 43, and Christopher Brouillard, 30. The estranged wife , Deborah Brown, was then kidnapped to New York and later rescued. Charged state and federally were Steven Brown, 35, with murder and Patricia Tetter, 39, with conspiracy. Both pled guilty in federal court. (DOMESTIC-2 counts)
4-11 | Searsport | Four week old Hunter Ramsey suffocated. The boys mother, Natachia Ramsey, 25, charged with murder. (DOMESTIC )
4-20 | Lyman | Bessie Selek, 41, run down by a hit and run driver. Her longtime boyfriend, Raymond Wood, 37, charged with murder . (DOMESTIC)
4-22 | Farmington | Blaine Jasper, 32, stabbed to death in fight. Jeremiah Paulton, 16, charged with murder.
6-30 | Farmington | 11 year old Amber Pond strangled . Her stepfather, Dana McAlpine, 36, charged with murder. (DOMESTIC)
7-9 | York | Eric Campbell, 22, shot to death. Christopher Mayrose, 28, a friend, charged with murder.
7-13 | Mercer | Ethel Springer, 51, shot to death at the town hall by her husband, Bryan Springer, 59, who returns to his home sets it afire and shots himself .

7-22 | Wilton | Evelyn Bayliss, 74, shot and killed by her husband, Clarence Bayliss, 81, who shots and kills himself. Murder-Suicide (DOMESTIC)
8-10 | Lewiston | Carol Cross, 38, shot and killed by her longtime boyfriend, Kenneth Emrick, 38, who shoots and kills himself. Murder-Suicide(DOMESTIC)
8-28 | Rockland | Hope Harford, 22, shot to death. Charged with murder is Herman Baker, 30, a friend.
9-16 | Brownville | William Pratt, 37, shot to death by his neighbor, Clinton Price, 29, who is later shot and killed by the state police tactical team following a standoff.
10-1 | Hartland | Gene Gogan, 62, shot and killed at his home and his body cut into pieces and dumped in woods. His wife, Vella Gogan, 55, charged with murder (DOMESTIC)
11/10 | Portland | Lori Griffin, 20, shot and killed by her roommate, Kevin Olas, 22, who later shots and kills himself. Murder-Suicide (DOMESTIC)
12-3 | Dexter | Mindy Gould, 20 and Treven Cunnington, 2 ½, shot to death inside home where Gould is baby sitting. Her former boyfriend, Jeffrey Cookson, 36, charged with two counts of murder. (DOMESTIC -2 counts )
12-4 | Portland | Tesfay Desta, 45, shot and killed downtown. Musse Kasa, 40 is charged with murder.
12-21 | Orono | Barbara Barnes, 59, stabbed to death inside her apartment. Her son, 28 year old Mark Barnes, is charged with murder. (DOMESTIC)
12-27 | Thomaston | David Brown, 36, shot to death. Malcolm Robinson II, 48, is charged with murder. Brown is the boyfriend of Robinson’s estranged wife. (DOMESTIC)
