Figure 33. Identified areas that may require management within region 1 (Hills Beach) based on physical characteristics of the beach. The central portion of Hills Beach (approx. 2,500-4,200 ft) appears most vulnerable to shoreline change due to low elevations, and thin dry beach and total widths. In areas of multiple overlap, base layers are solid colors, while overlaying colors are lined or dotted.
