Jon Lockman, Southern Maine Regional Planning Commission

Since 1999, Jonathan T. Lockman has held the position of Planning Director at Southern Maine Regional Planning Commission. He is also consulting planner for ten recent projects for municipalities to rewrite zoning text and/or revise mapping to comply with Department of Environmental Protection Shoreland Zoning requirements, including the towns of Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, Old Orchard Beach, Kittery and Eliot. He holds a Master of Regional Planning from University of North Carolina. Mr. Lockman is the past president of Maine Association of Planners, and is Chair of Resort and Tourism Section of the Economic Development Division of the American Planning Association.
