Christine Feurt, Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve

Christine Feurt is the Coastal Training Program Coordinator at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve. She is also the Director of the Center for Sustainable Communities in the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of New England. She received her undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Maryland, and master’s degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary. Her PhD in Environmental Studies is from Antioch University New England. Her research focuses on the use of cultural models and Collaborative Learning as part of an interdisciplinary strategy to support science translation and cross-scale implementation of ecosystem management.
