Stephen Dickson, Maine Geological Survey

Stephen Dickson is the Maine State Marine Geologist. He earned his Ph.D. University of Maine and is a member of the American Geophysical Union, Geological Society of America, Society for Sedimentary Geology, Geological Society of Maine. His research interests include coastal erosion, shoreline change, sediment budgets, sea-level rise, beach nourishment, dredging, coastal bluffs and sand dunes, coastal hazards policy and hazard mitigation, and adapting to impacts of climate change along the Maine coast.
