Building Community Resiliency - A Walking Tour
A walking tour of Willard Beach adjacent to the conference center will allow participants to visualize dune restoration, recreation and public access management, and coastal processes that affect beach erosion. Storm flood levels and inundation from sea level rise will be discussed. Methods of coastal construction to reduce vulnerability to hazards will be presented. Actions that communities and individuals can take will be emphasized.
