The Office of the State Auditor has earned a great reputation for professionalism and wants that tradition to continue by hiring only the best candidates. Our employees benefit from a friendly work environment and reasonable work hours, and a flexible five day work schedule. As State employees, our staff benefits from a pension plan, medical insurance, generous holiday and vacation pay, and sick leave when needed. Though the future is not necessarily a reflection of the past, entry level auditors have been promoted within a year or two.

Employment with this office qualifies for the work experience requirement needed to become licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
