Kennebec/Somerset Tabletop Exercise Held

On July 22, 2009, a tabletop exercise took place at the Augusta Armory. Several response agencies attended this exercise, including 911 dispatchers and hospital representatives, to discuss their roles in 2 seperate major incidents going on the both counties at the same time. The main focus of this exercise was to establish an effective incidnet command post, emergency operations center, unified command, and a public information system.

Howard Mette designed this exercise on behalf of Kennebec and Somerset Emergency Management Agencies. Several photos have been uploaded to MEMA's page on Facebook.

The agencies had a chace to fill out incident command system forms and to design an incident command system that met their needs.
