Coordination of the Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan is led by the Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services and the Governor's Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, through a new Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan Office.
These funds will be used for financial and management oversight of American Rescue Plan Act funds, including State discretionary and direct funds, as well local passthrough funds. This will include coordination, processing, tracking, reporting, reconciling, compliance, auditing, and program guidance monitoring and summarizing, as well as ensuring expenditures are eligible under U.S. Treasury guidance. Significant reporting will be needed to meet federal requirements, as well as consistent, transparent updates for the Maine Legislature and citizens.
