2012 Maine Tax Forum News
As previously announced in the September, 2012 Maine Tax Alert, the 16th Annual Maine Tax Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th and Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at the Augusta Civic Center.
As in prior years,CPE/CLE credits areavailable to attendees. Though MRS did not originally meet the requirements to be a qualified Internal Revenue Service Continuing Education provider,we continue to work with the IRS in seeking approval to issue CPE credits for federal-related tax sessions. Those interested in receiving IRS certified CPE credits must provide MRS with their PTIN issued by the IRS. We will issue a notice in a future Tax Alert or at the Tax Forum itself if we receive approval from the IRS. .
