Electronic Filing Training Seminar
To assist Maine tax return preparers in meeting recently implemented electronic filing requirements, Maine Revenue Services with assistance from the Internal Revenue Service, is planning to coordinate a free training seminar that will provide related information.
The seminar is tentatively scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 5 at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine and is expected to last for approximately three hours.
Preliminary ideas for discussion include a “how to” on completing and filing forms electronically and information on available products/tools to facilitate electronic filing (including Maine I-File). Additionally, we hope to assemble a panel of experienced electronic filers to answer questions you may have.
To assist us in the planning process, please click this link freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=5dux6fhw4edyy6f417542 and indicate whether you would or would not be interested in attending the seminar. Note that indicating interest does not register you to attend the seminar; registration forms will be made available within the next few weeks.
