Acadia National Park
Website provides accessibility information about the park's information centers, campgrounds, trails, carriage roads and carriages, ranger-led programs, museums, boat cruises, restaurants, gift shops and public transportation. The Golden Access Passport, free to U.S. citizens with disabilities, provides entrance and half-price camping at most national parks, monuments, and federal recreation areas.
Baxter State Park
Some of the park's picnic areas, campgrounds, cabins, reading rooms and visitor centers are wheelchair accessible. Call the reservations line for more information: (207) 723-5140.
