The April 2024 quarterly meeting of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission will be held on April 26, 2024, at the Maine State Library, 242 State Street, Augusta, Maine, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please note that the Maine State Library has temporarily moved to 242 State Street.

All Commission meetings are open to the public. Members of the public wishing to offer comments on the nominations to be considered at the meeting should send written comments to michael.w.goebel-bain@maine.gov by the close of business on April 25, 2024.

The Maine Historic Preservation Commission allows participation in its public meetings by remote methods in accordance with 1 MRS 403-B and the Commission's Remote Participation Policy.   • Summer Street Block, Biddeford. Criterion C: Architecture. Period of Significance 1850.

  • Maine Women's Reformatory Maternity Hospital and Nursery, Skowhegan. Criterion A: Social History and Health/Medicine. Period of significance 1937-54.

  • Webb River Grange, Carthage. Criterion A: Social History, Entertainment/Recreation, and Politics/Government. Period of significance 1904-74.

  • Puddle Dock School, Alna. Criterion A: Education and Criterion C: Architecture. Period of significance 1874-1962.

  • Gilead Railroad Station, Gilead. Criterion C: Architecture. Period of Significance 1851.
