March of Dimes
I’m honored to serve as the Honorary Chairperson of the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign. This five-year campaign hopes to raise $75 million dollars and to raise awareness about the growing problem of premature births
Premature babies face long term or lifetime consequences of premature birth such as blindness, mental retardation or cerebral palsy. The medical community understands many of the risk factors associated with prematurity, there is a lot of work to be done to understand the causes-and how to educate fa
milies about how to prevent preterm birth.
