Baldacci Family Holiday Cards
The holidays are a festive time of year at the Blaine House. The Baldacci Family is proud to celebrate in the historic home of Maine's Governors. Blaine House holiday cards have a rich and storied history, and the cards below are just a sample of these beautiful and poignant holiday wishes.
~2006~
The 2006 Baldacci Holiday Card, was designed by Maine College of Art student, Sarah Lomba of Bath.
Her design, a computer generated image of the Blaine House is a whimsical illustration, featuring bold lines and colors.

This photo of the First Family, accompanied by the greeting "Holiday Greetings," appears on the inside of the 2006 Holiday card given by Governor John Baldacci; the First Lady, Karen; son, Jack; and Sam.
~2005~
The 2005 Baldacci Family Holiday Card, by Hallowell artist Paul Plumer, is entitled "Blaine House in Spring."
The holiday greeting inside the Baldacci's 2005 card reads "Happy Holidays, From Our House to Your House" and features this photo of Governor Baldacci, the First Lady, Jack, Sam, and Murphy.
~2004~
The 2004 Baldacci Family Holiday Card features the pine cone and tassel, an image taken directly from the design on the silver service which was on board the U.S.S. Maine when it sank in Havana Harbor in 1898. This card was designed by Ken Kantro of Lovell Designs.
The photo to the right appeared inside the Baldacci Family's 2004 Holiday Card with the inscription "Happy Holidays, From Our House To Your House."
~2003~
This card, sent by Governor Baldacci, the First Lady, and Jack in 2003, was adapted from a card given by the family of Governor Lewis O. Barrows, who served as Governor of the State of Maine from 1937-1941.
This photo of the First Family, accompanied by the greeting "Wishing You All the Best in the New Year," appeared on the inside of the 2003 Holiday card given by the Governor, the First Lady, and Jack.
