MCC Environmental Educator Host Sites

The Maine Conservation Corps Environmental Educator program works with federal, state and non-profit organizations.  Our Environmental Educators (EE's) are individual volunteers serving in the AmeriCorps National Service program in 900 hour (approximately 6 months) or 1700 (approximately 10 months) positions.  Environmental Educator positions start in January and May.   EE's work on various projects including but not limited to environmental education in schools, community outreach, biological monitoring, grant writing, volunteer coordination, trail construction and rehabilitation, watershed assessments, and ecological research.
