Do Not Call/MailThere are two Do Not Call Lists you can place your name on. One is maintained by the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), and the other is maintained by the United States Government's Federal Trade Commission (FTC). We suggest you enter your name on both Do Not Call Lists. Use this secure, confidential form to get your name and number on the 'Do Not Call' list for consumer merchandise telemarketers. It can take up to six months to stop all the calls. Simply complete the online form and click "Send" to transmit it to the Attorney General's Office electronically. Direct Marketing Association's Do Not Call ListHere is how you enter your name on the Direct Marketing Association Do Not Call List. The Office of the Attorney General will only use information provided here to update the Direct Marketing Association Do Not Call list. If you prefer, you may place your name and number on that list directly by regular mail by writing to:
Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call ListThe Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has also created a Do Not Call List, which makes iteasier for you to stop getting telemarketing calls you do not want. You can register online at www.donotcall.gov or by phone, toll free, by called 1-888-382-1222, TTY 1-866-290-4236 from the telephone number you wish to register. Registration is free. By placing your name in the DMA Do Not Mail List, you can expect within a few months to receive considerably fewer unwanted mailings. Your name remains on the list for five years.
