Janet D. Joyeux, Administration Division Chief
Janet Joyuex has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Maine in Augusta and 30 years experience in governmental budget, financial management and policy development. Ms. Joyeux began her career with the State in 1982 and has served as Director of Administrative Services in two departments and as Assistant to the Commissioner most recently in the Department of Public Safety. As Assistant to the Commissioner she was charged with oversight of the Department’s financial management, from budget preparation through the legislative committee work and auditing. She also served on various policy committees and was involved in many aspects of Department administration. Ms. Joyeux was appointed in April, 2011 as Law Office Manager for the Office of the Attorney General and then as Division Chief for the Administrative and Financial Services Division in September 2011 and charged with overseeing general administration, accounting, budget, human resources and technology.
