TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT: ICS 300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents

Central Maine Power will be hosting ICS 300 training for anyone interested on June 5th and 6th, 2019 at Central Maine Power's Canco Road Service Center, 162 Canco Road, Portland, Maine in the second floor auditorium from 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m..
Participants MUST complete both days to receive credit for training and receive FEMA certificate.
AUDIENCE: The target audience for this course is for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents. Note: During a Type 3 incident, some or all of the command and general staff positions may be activated, as well as division/group supervisory and/or unit leader level positions. These incidents may extend into multiple operational periods.
ICS 300 will provide training on resources for managers and responders who require an advanced application of ICS. These are individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents which may extend into multiple operational periods. ICS 300 will include unified command, incident/event assessment and objective development; the ICS planning process; incident/event resource management, transfer of command and demobilization.

- IS 100: Introduction to the Incident Command System
- IS 200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
- IS 700: Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
