Casco Bay Bridge Gate Adjustments

Portland – Today, motorists need to be aware of crews working on the Portland side of the Casco Bay Bridge making adjustments to the warning gates, resulting in multiple 10 minute closures throughout the day, as workers lower the gates to check the alignments. This work is for southbound traffic only, and will be completed by 3:00pm.

Tomorrow, (Tue 3/27) crews will work on the warning gates in the opposite direction, from South Portland into Portland, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Once again, multiple 10 minute closures are expected as workers lower the gates to properly align them for the safety of travelers.

Marine traffic will not be affected by this work either day.
