***Media Advisory***

Media outlets seeking an opportunity to shoot video or photographs of the ballot/memory device drop-off for the ranked-choice voting tabulation can obtain those images at the Williams Pavilion entrance to the Elkins Building in Augusta tonight, Thursday, June 14, likely between 4-6 p.m. This is an estimated time when couriers are expected to drop off the elections materials to the central tabulation site.

Members of the media and public will need to remain outside of the building to avoid impeding the delivery process, and must maintain a clear path for elections officials to transport the ballots into the secure location. No vehicles will be permitted to park in the delivery area, and must use the adjacent parking area. No members of the public or media will be admitted to the tabulation site during this intake process. The site will be open to the public beginning at 9 AM on Friday, June 15.

Ballot collection at the municipal offices is based on the courier service’s existing routes, and no schedule will be released.
