Board of Director's Meeting
February 12, 2008

A meeting of the Maine Motor Vehicle Franchise Board was held on Tuesday February 12, 2008, in the Conference Room at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, 101 Hospital Street, Augusta, Maine.

Chairman John McCurry, Esq., called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Roll Call:

Present: John McCurry, William Dowling, 'Bud' Morrison, William Sowles and John Knight. Dan Rosenthal, Esq., was present on behalf of Ford; and Judy Metcalf attended for Darling's.

Minutes:

  1. The Board met to deliberate on the evidence it heard on December 18 and 19, 2008. The Board found that Ford had violated Maine law in No. 06-01 by a three (Sowles, Morrison and McCurry) to two (Knight and Dowling) vote, and imposed a Civil Penalty and Damages.
  2. William Dowling moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:14 a.m.; all members were in favor of adjourning, and the meeting officially adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
