NOTICE OF LICENSURE REVOCATION
Dear Mr. Snow:
This is to inform you that the Department of Human Services, Division of Support Enforcement and Recovery has filed a Certification to Revoke License(s) with respect to your license #PRR16249. Because you have been certified by the Department of Human Services as a support obligor who is not in compliance with a legal order of support, the Superintendent of Insurance is required by law to take action against your license.
This letter constitutes formal notice to you from the Superintendent of Insurance that, pursuant to 19 M.R.S.A. §2201, your Resident Producer License #PRR16249 has been revoked. A revocation or refusal to reissue, renew or otherwise extend the license by the Bureau of Insurance for noncompliance with an order of support is deemed a final determination within the meaning of Title 5, §10002 of the Maine Revised Statutes Annotated. Therefore, you may not appeal this action against your license directly to the Superintendent.
Please return your license to this agency in the enclosed self addressed envelope within 7 days of receipt of the certified notice. The conduct of the business of insurance by unlicensed individuals is prohibited in Maine (See 24-A M.R.S.A. §1412). Also, send a list of insurance companies with whom you currently have appointments.
The Superintendent will consider renewal or reissuance of your license upon receipt of a release from the Department of Human Services that states you are in compliance with your order of support.
This notice is issued pursuant to 19-A M.R.S.A. §2201(7) and is a final determination under 5 M.R.S.A. §10002.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL INQUIRIES REGARDING THIS NOTICE SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, DIVISION OF SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT AND RECOVERY AT 207/286-2533.
cc: Sharon Quatrano, Enforcement Agent
