BUREAU OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Department of Professional and Financial Regulation State of Maine cPort Credit Union, Portland, Maine, has requested permission to amend its bylaws to expand its field of membership, in accordance with Title 9-B M.R.S.A. § 848. Presently, cPort Credit Union’s field of membership consists of employees of the public sector, employees of four small select employee groups, and any person who lives or works in Cumberland County, Maine.
The Credit Union requested approval to expand its field of membership to add any person who lives or works in Androscoggin, Kennebec, Sagadahoc or York County.
The Bureau reviewed the documentation submitted by cPort Credit Union in support of its request. As a result of that review and analysis, the Bureau approved the request to add the well-defined community. Therefore, as amended, the field of membership for cPort Credit Union consists of employees of the public sector and any person who lives or works in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Sagadahoc or York County, Maine.
Any person aggrieved by this final agency action shall be entitled to judicial review, pursuant to the provisions the Maine Administrative Procedures Act, Title V, Chapter 375, Subchapter VII (5 M.R.S.A. § 11001, et seq.). /s/ Lloyd P. LaFountain, III Superintendent Gardiner, Maine June 20, 2006
