An Act To Amend the Laws Governing All-terrain Vehicles
SUMMARY
This bill would amend the law requiring express permission of a landowner in order for another person to operate an ATV on that landowner's land. This bill would enact an exception to that requirement if a person has a deeded right of way to the land and that person is obligated to maintain the right of way.

This bill corrects an error that was made when Public Law 2005, chapter 457 removed the authority granted to the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife by Public Law 2005, chapter 1 to allow the operation of snowmobiles registered outside the State at special events occurring in the State.
