An Act To Amend the Charter of the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District
SUMMARY
This bill would extend the territory of the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District to include all of the territory of the Town of Boothbay to provide for regional sewer service. The bill also increases the debt limit of the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District from $5,500,000 to $8,500,000 to assist the Town of Boothbay in extending sewer service north along the State Route 27 corridor to allow for economic development and the additional protection of the region's drinking water resources in the Adams Pond watershed.

An Act To Protect Maine's Electricity Consumers
SUMMARY
This bill would give the Public Utilities Commission the authority to withdraw from participation in the system of any independent system operator if the commission finds that the interests of Maine electricity consumers are not adequately protected.
