BANGOR?Tri-County CareerCenter in Bangor announces July programming for job seekers and those who are considering training to upgrade their skills and increase their employability.

?Maine CareerCenter staff help job seekers stand out when competing for a position,? said Governor Paul R. LePage. ?Our monthly workshops help people fine-tune their job search tools and techniques, whether a resume or cover letter, interview skills, and finding and applying for jobs online. With almost 12,000 jobs listed on Maine JobLink, I urge Mainers looking for work to connect with their local CareerCenter today.?

Hancock County Targeted Job Fair in Ellsworth ? Thursday, July 13, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., EMDC office in the Mill Mall, 248 State St, Ellsworth, ME

Featuring: Jackson Lab, Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, Tractor Supply in Ellsworth and OnProcess Technology.

Resume Information Seminar ? First and Third Tuesdays of each month, 9 a.m. to noon

Learn the basic do?s and don?ts of resume writing, how to use key words and phrases to catch an employer?s attention, discover web sites for skills identification and learn how to produce a resume that will work for you. Interview Workshop ? Fourth Tuesday of each month, 9 a.m. to noon

Gateway to Employment Workshop ? Mondays, 2 to 4 p.m.

This is an overview of information on resumes, interviews, job search skills as well as CareerCenter and community resources available during your job search.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Information and Registration Session ? Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon

This is an overview of services and programs available through WIOA to residents of the tri-county area to include intensive job search assistance, potential training opportunities and options like on-the-job training. It also includes eligibility requirements and information on accessing all of these services. Please complete your Maine JobLink registration prior to attending the workshop. Essentials of College Planning and Financial Aid ? Presented by MEOC ? Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
