Open positions on the Maine EMS QI Committee

The Maine EMS Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement Committee is seeking a person to fill two At-Large Representative positions on the committee.

The Maine EMS Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement Committee is a standing committee of the Maine Board of Emergency Medical Services. The committee advises the board on creating statewide quality improvement markers, conducting board approved quality improvement initiatives, publishing and updating the Quality Improvement manual, leading or participating in state-based quality management education, and reviewing quality assurance and improvement management of Board-Approved pilot projects. The committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in Augusta.

To be considered for the At-Large Representative position, an individual should have an interest in Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement; Emergency Medical Services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

€ Attending and participating in Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement committee meetings held at the Maine Department of Public Safety in Augusta, Maine; and,

€ Providing information and expertise to the committee.
