Trooper Kim Sawyer received a report in Weston that a trailer inspection sticker had been stolen off logging trailers that had been parked in Topsfield.  No suspects.

Sergeant Jeff Ingemi summonsed Daniel Mutty (47) of Columbia Falls, for Operating After Suspension after a traffic stop in Harrington.

Sergeant Jeff Ingemi summonsed Loren Spurling (30) of Southwest Harbor, for Operating After Suspension after a traffic stop in Harrington.

Trooper Miles Carpenter covered a trailer fire in Northfield on Route 192.  A tractor trailer had been traveling south when a fire started on the right rear of the trailer at the axle.  The operator stopped the vehicle and attempted to put out the fire with the fire extinguisher but ultimately ran out of chemical.  The operator was able to separate the tractor from the trailer and move it to a safe distance.  Marshfield Fire Department, Machias Fire Department, East Machias Fire Department and Maine Forest Service responded.

Corporal Jeff Taylor and Sergeant Jeff Ingemi responded to a serious personal injury crash on the Pigeon Hill Road in Steuben.  A black 2002 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck was headed east and operated by Peta Johnson (60) of Beals, when it drove off the right side of the road around a curve for unknown reasons or fatigue.  Johnson and a passenger, Forrest Atwater (31) of Cherryfield, were both transported by EMS to a local hospital.  Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Steuben Fire Department, Cherryfield Fire Department, Schoodic Ambulance, Petit Manan Ambulance, Cherryfield Ambulance and Rolfe’s Towing assisted at the scene. 

Corporal Jeff Taylor handled a theft complaint in Oquiton Township where a camper was broken into sometime in the past week and a generator was reported stolen.  The Maine Warden Service assisted.  Investigation continues.
